Stowe School opened as a boy’s education facility in 1923 with 99 pupils that boarded in 2 houses- Bruce and Temple. Since its establishment, the School has grown considerably and the now co-educational facility currently boasts approximately 800 pupils.

Emmanuel College is one of the larger schools constituting the University of Cambridge and educates around 500 undergraduate students at any one time. Upon arrival, all first year students are traditionally provided with college accommodation in either the North or South Court.

St Cross College, Oxford

St Cross is one of Oxford University’s most recently developed postgraduate colleges. Established in 1965, the College offers courses in a variety of subjects and prides itself on the relaxed structure of its social facilities, a policy integral to their strong scholarly community. After visiting the Taplanes exhibition at St John’s College, Oxford last year, St Cross College approached Taplanes to create a new vanity unit to replace an existing unit that was part of a fitted wardrobe system, as the time had come to refurbish and upgrade.

Lancing College, founded in 1848 and can be seen from miles around with its imposing chapel and monumental architecture, nestling in the magnificent Sussex Downs. Providing residential accommodation for a large proportion of their students, it was essential that the College installed low maintenance solution when refurbishing their boarding houses.
