LHA Halpin House

Taplanes recently completed a project for LHA at Halpin House, installing 30 Units – Small shower and changing pods with Internal wall to improve water containment and useability.

Having spoken to other companies, LHA chose Taplanes because of the longevity and durability of our products and also the consistent aesthetic and low maintenance over lifetime, allowing LHA to market their hostels with confidence at all times.

The unisex bathroom units in the hostel see high volumes of use every single day and LHA are committed to the improvement of their sites for both the end user and also the maintenance teams at each location. To achieve the 30units, Taplanes’ experienced team produced a clever and very specific design to maximise space in the complex environment. You can see more of this in the drawing which can be found here.

The new Taplanes units assist in providing a better user experience for those paying to stay at the hostel and also assists in a reduce running cost for the hostel.

“I’ve been working with various types of showers for over 20 years, in various roles, and I’ve tried everything from wet rooms, through domestic installs to various pod concepts. Taplanes are by far and away the best I’ve come across from the beginning to the end of the process, not just the product but the service they provide and the adaptable bespoke nature of the offering. They are without a doubt market leading!” Ben Atwell Head of Operations LHA London

LHA have 30 hostels across London and there are three similar refurb Projects with Taplanes and 1 x 100+ Unit refurb with Ensuite Pods already planned as LHA make improvements across all their venues.

If you are looking to reduce costs and the maintenance of your shower and bathroom in high use environments, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team.
