Belford Hostel is set in a 19th century converted church and centrally located in the beautiful Georgian West End of Edinburgh. One of the original hostels in Edinburgh, the Belford Backpackers Hostel is a unique and lively converted church and has been going strong for over 18 years. Centrally located in Edinburgh’s West End near the ancient and beautiful Dean Village and Water of Leith, It’s only a short walk to Princes Street and the Old Town to explore Edinburgh’s many attractions and energetic nightlife.
The hostel features a resident’s bar, the entrance to which is adorned with a humorous Braveheart caricature and the patriotic starting verse to the Scottish national Anthem. Decked with sports memorabilia from all corners of the world, it’s a great place to enjoy a drink and meet fellow travellers.
The dormitories were renovated in 2010 and Taplanes were extremely pleased to work alongside Bren Ford Of Backpackers Limited during 2015 to produce Minipods for the refurbishment of the shower areas.
